Phew, it worked. We successfully added Scotlen into our annual ski trip. Big sigh of relief. The three of us jetted off to Vail, Colorado for a long weekend and three days of skiing. Scotlen was so excited to go with us this year. She even tolerated three full days of ski school without significant complaint. She was quite proud to be moved up a level for the last day - to the aptly named "Superstar" group.
Of course, it wouldn't be a special trip with Scotlen if Mama didn't get vomited upon at some point during the adventure. Many thanks to Scotlen for continuing that tradition during the gondola ride back down the mountain after tubing. But other than this small hiccup, the trip was a huge success. Lots of good, quality time together and, of course, lots of powder.
