Much to our dismay and sadness, there are only a few words left that Scotlen pronounces incorrectly. It used to be pasketti (spaghetti) and babes (waves) and B.V. (T.V.) and on and on. Over time, all of those adorable errors have faded away. But we still have punkins, so Kyle and I take every opportunity we can to get her to say the word throughout the course of the Halloween season. One of these great opportunities is the annual preschool trip to the Punkin Patch in Springfield, Tennessee. Every time we go to Honeysuckle Hill Farm, there are ten new activities for the children: a "learning barn" where the kids learn about bees and punkins, pig races, petting zoo, hayrides, a huge bouncy "corn popper," a corn maze, a giant monster slide, a tornado, and a big box full of dried corn were the main of the highlights this year. Jonas got to tag along on the trip and was actually allowed out of the stroller to participate this year. He was not a big fan of sitting still in the learning barn, or of waiting for everybody to be ready to move on to the next activity, but overall he did great. As you can see from the photos, a good time was had by all.
