With Scotlen in kindergarten, this year brought our first official Spring Break. Kyle, of course, decided to turn the idea of a "break" on its head. And those two lucky children have been treated to two weeks of absolute fun. Local events have included trips to the Bounce House, bowling, Circus World, the park, the zoo, Sweet Ce-Ce's, the toy store in Nashville, and others that I am probably forgetting. Out of town trips included a day at the Chattanooga Aquarium with friends from school, a boat ride in the Lost Cave in Kentucky and, most notably, a long weekend in Gatlinburg with the Reynolds clan. The Gatlinburg trip included golf, hiking, another aquarium, candy, a ride on a ski lift, a jurassic boat ride, two rounds of putt-putt, and other general merriment. I know they don't realize it now, but I hope these children realize how lucky they are when they grow up.
