I have a vague memory that Halloween as a child was a pretty big deal. But for much of my older childhood and early adulthood it was more of an afterthought holiday. Now with children who are six and almost-three, Halloween has become the second most involved holiday of the year. This year involved quite a bit of pre-Halloween festivities.
