Our baby boy is two. Weren't we just saying "I can't believe he's one," like, three days ago? Here's a look at who he is at this moment in time.
Favorite things: Trains, Balloons, Dancing, Baths, Running, and Jumping.
Least favorite things: Not being allowed to splash in the bath, the end of playtime, not being held when he wants to be held. That's all I can think of. He really continues to be a very content child.
Favorite Destination: Red Robin (sigh), Peekaboo Playtown, anywhere with a slide, hotel elevators.
Favorite person: Probably still Scotlen, though the fact that his deep love of her does not seem to be mutual is starting to have its effect. There's been some hitting. That's all I'm going to say.
The family birthday party was held last night. Jonas seemed to have a great time and was doted upon by all, but mostly by Halle. Favorite gift by far was his new Thomas the Train portable set, and we made the mistake of letting him open that one first. We could barely get his attention for the other presents.
Really, is there anything cuter?

Jonas has stopped squinting at the camera, but now he makes this face . . .

Wait, wait, wait, wait just a doggone second! PRESENTS?!?!? we thought you did not ALLOW presents!!! we made sure that bennett got one for his birthday but chose NOT to send one for Jonas out of deference to your previously shared preference for no presents. NOW we look like Aunt Who Cares and Uncle Ass! THANKS A LOT!
ReplyDeleteSame rules applied, gifts from parents and grandparents only. So save your indignation. But don't worry, you'll always be Uncle Ass to us.
