Fair Fun

We made our first trip to the Wilson County Fair yesterday, August 24. As an adult, I now view the fair with great skepticism - with its sketchy people and death-trap rides. But still, there's something about the lights of a fair at night. And, of course, there's always something magical about your children having fun.

And, her annual favorite, the pony wheel

Kyle's favorite part of the evening was listening to the clown in the dunking booth hurl insults at the passers-by. He stood at the booth for quite some time, and I think he was hoping to be the recipient of some slight. But, alas, he and Jonas were apparently deemed not worthy of the clown's scorn.
Jonas seemed a little put out that Scotlen was having all the fun, and he expressed his displeasure via a large blow out poop on the way home. Needless to say, all hands on deck were required shortly after our arrival home, and Scotlen succumbed to the after-effects of all that fun.
